The CSS Propertie z-index
The z-index property sets the stack order of a positioned element — controls which element shows over which when overlapping. Higher values display above lower values. Only works on elements with position other than static.
.modal {
z-index: 100;
}
.tooltip {
position: absolute;
z-index: 9999;
}
.backdrop {
z-index: -1;
}
min:-9999
max:9999
step:1
units:
autoThe default value. Stack order same as parent; does not create a new stacking context.
