The CSS Propertie hyphenate-character
The hyphenate-character property sets the character shown at the end of a line when a word is broken by hyphenation. Typically "-", but in Armenian/Korean/Spanish another character may be appropriate. Default auto lets the UA pick per language.
p {
hyphenate-character: "-";
}
.dash-style {
hyphens: auto;
hyphenate-character: "\2010";
}
autoUA picks an appropriate hyphen character per the declared language (default).
