The CSS Propertie rotate
The rotate property rotates an element by an angle around an axis. Unlike transform: rotate(), it's an independent longhand allowing rotation animations without conflicting with translate/scale. Can specify an axis (x/y/z) or 3D vector.
.spin {
rotate: 45deg;
}
.card-flip {
rotate: y 180deg;
transition: rotate 500ms ease;
}
min:-360
max:360
step:1
units:deg | rad | turn | grad
noneNo rotation (default).xX axis — rotation around the horizontal axis (like rotateX()).yY axis — rotation around the vertical axis (like rotateY()).zZ axis — rotation around the viewer axis (like rotateZ() or 2D rotate()).
