מאפיין text-wrap-mode מחליט אם שורות יכולות להישבר בכלל. שולט בהיבט ה-on/off של ה-wrapping; הסגנון של ה-wrap נקבע ע"י text-wrap-style.

button { text-wrap-mode: nowrap; }

wrapערך ברירת המחדל. מאפשר שבירת שורות בטקסט.

nowrapמונע שבירת שורות — הטקסט נשאר בשורה אחת (יוצר overflow אם ארוך מהמיכל).
