The CSS Propertie font-synthesis

מאפיין הקיצור font-synthesis קובע אילו synthesizations מותר לדפדפן לבצע כשהפונט לא תומך באופן טבעי: bold weight, italic style, small-caps, ו-sub/super position. ברירת המחדל מאפשרת את כולן. שולט ב-font-synthesis-weight/style/small-caps/position.

noneאין synthesis — אם הפונט לא תומך באופן טבעי, הטקסט יוצג בלי האפקט.

weightמאפשר synthesis של bold כשאין גליף bold בפונט.

styleמאפשר synthesis של italic/oblique.

small-capsמאפשר synthesis של small caps (הקטנת אותיות גדולות).

positionמאפשר synthesis של sub/super (scale+offset).
